Ranthambore

Ranthambore National Park is also known as Ranthambore rashtriya uddyan, located at sawai madhopur district, Rajasthan earned the title of national park in 1980. It is the most popular and largest national park or tiger reserve in northern India till date. It was included in the project tiger reserves in 1973. It has been positioned in between the junction of Aravalli and Vindhya hill range. It has two rivers with each side, Banas River on the north and Chambal River on the south.

Moreover climate here doesn’t remain constant or specific; the mercury can reduce itself and increase itself to extreme. This is another reason to visit this place in around November to May.

Ranthambore is also famous for its natural beauty and landscape. You can find the wide range of banyan trees growing here. While your journey within this national park you will also come across some beautiful lakes. We can find a wide variety of flora and fauna in this national park. It is one of the best places in the world that provides the exotic wildlife at its best and in its natural habitat. Ranthambore has done its best to preserve all the nature’s best creations, it has some of the magnificent lakes and wide streams, lush green grasslands everything which is just apt for the wildlife to grow and develop in it.

Exploring the wildlife here has much significance but apart from just enjoying animals living in their natural habitat, Ranthambore also provides bird watching, having variety of bird species present there. Observing the wildlife within a place like Ranthambore will definitely give an experience which will last forever.

Nowadays tigers have been at the edge of extinction, but the Indian government and the project tiger has been putting a lot of efforts trying to save the tiger’s population. There were 44 tigers living in Ranthambore in 1972 when the project tiger was started to save tigers, but in 2005, but in 2008 it increased to 34, still less than what we had in 1972 but relatively better than what was recorded in 2005. This all have been done by the efforts which has been done by Ranthambore national park. It’s one of the best places in India to explore and observe the wildlife and having a breathtaking experience.
